Travis has a new nickname for Gavin. He has started calling him Napoleon. Since it snowed a couple of weeks ago, he has been insisting on wearing his snow boots day AND night. I only hope that when I take him out in public, people will understand that some things are just NOT worth the fight!!!
I asked Gavin to go get dressed this morning while I was in the shower. I had to laugh when I came out to find him dressed like this!!! He was so proud of himself!
Yes... he even sleeps in them!

That's hilarious!!! My kids have also gone through the wearing their boots wherever they go stage, and you're right, it's not worth the fight to get them to change. Too cute!!!
At least he just wears the boots. Grandpa looked quite a bit like Napoleon when he was younger and had a fro! At least he didn't inherit that gene!
some things are totally not worth the fight, or the energy. bennion wears his pants backwards almost every day b/c i am too lazy to bend over and fix them and he says "i like them that way". kids are great and they have their own style. i love it. napoleon barnes. it has a good ring.

So cute! Bryson had a pair of Winnie the Pooh snow boots that he refused to take of at the same age. Gotta love their sense of style at that age!
